Jacqueline M. Vigilante, Esq.

Jacqueline M. Vigilante, Esquire, is a seasoned attorney with almost 30 years of experience practicing law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney, a designation earned by only a small number of New Jersey attorneys. With a law degree from Temple University, Ms. Vigilante began her career as a Senior Opinion Clerk for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the Honorable Robert N.C. Nix, Jr. This invaluable experience laid the groundwork for an impressive career as a litigator representing individuals and small businesses, in the areas of employment and civil rights litigation in the federal and state courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Ms. Vigilante currently serves as on the Board of Governors of the New Jersey Association for Justice, where she also co-chairs the Solo and Small Firm Committee. Ms. Vigilante was recently appointed as a Barrister for the Sidney Reitman Employment Law American Inn of Court, the first American Inn of Court devoted exclusively to labor and employment. She is currently a member of the American Association for Justice, American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, The New Jersey Bar Association, The Gloucester County Bar Association, and the National Association of Employment Lawyers. She has served as past Chairperson of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Young Lawyer Division, as well as Delegate of the American Bar Association for the House of Delegates. Ms. Vigilante is a frequent lecturer on topics including ethics and professionalism, small firm practice and employment and civil rights law.

In 1997, Ms. Vigilante started The Vigilante Law Firm, P.C., where she currently practices. The firm has offices in both Mullica Hill, NJ, and Philadelphia, PA, representing individuals and small businesses and a variety of legal matters, including employment law, criminal matters, personal injury, real estate, and estate planning.

Ms. Vigilante serves as the Solicitor of Pitman Borough and the prosecutor in the Elk Joint Municipal Court, serving Elk Township and Clayton Borough, and is also an approved attorney on the New Jersey State Policeman’s Benevolent Association’s Legal Protection Plan.

Ms. Vigilante currently resides with her family in Mullica Hill, NJ where she is active in her community.
