Christopher J. Ross, Esq.

Christopher J. Ross joined the firm in September 2020 following a clerkship with the Honorable Judge William F. Ziegler in The Superior Court of New Jersey Criminal Division. Prior to his clerkship, Christopher externed with the Honorable United States Magistrate Joel Schneider in the Federal District Court of New Jersey. He is a Cum Laude graduate from Rutgers Law School where he earned his Juris Doctor. While at Rutgers, Christopher served as a Law Guardian with the Rutgers Child and Family Advocacy Clinic, a Legal Writing Fellow and as the Business Editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion where his work was published.

Christopher’s practice focuses on employment law, municipal and criminal defense and the defense of law enforcement officer in internal affairs. He serves as the Municipal Prosecutor in the Franklin Township Joint Municipal Court, the Cumberland Salem Regional Municipal Court and the Mid Salem Municipal Court. Prior to serving as a Municipal Prosecutor, Christopher served as a municipal public defender. Christopher has handled hundreds of DUIs and criminal matters in the municipal courts.

Christopher served as lead counsel in Chipola v. Flannery, 261 N.J. 460 (2025), a landmark New Jersey Supreme Court case which established a one-year statute of limitations for false light invasion of privacy claims. In addition to the New Jersey Supreme Court, Christopher has litigated in all levels of the New Jersey court system including the Municipal Court, Office of Administrative Law, Superior Court and the New Jersey Appellate Division.
